One of the main ways that RifCom generates funds for its charitable projects is through our
sponsored Charity Challenge Adventures. We offer a range of exciting and rewarding
experiences in Morocco, as well as in amazing locations further afield with our occasional
“Bucket-List Challenges”!

March 1 to 4
RIFCOM BITE-SIZE TREK
An eye-opening and breath-taking long-weekend
event in the Rif Mountains of Morocco, hiking up
the iconic pillar of Hercules, Jebel Moussa, then
along Rif Mountain trails and finishing with some
leisure time in the blue pearl of Chefchaouen.
Great hiking, stunning scenery, charming people &
delicious food with a comfy hotel stay at the end!

SWISS & ITALIAN ALPS
The “Via Spluga”, also called “the most
beautiful way over the Alps”, is perhaps one of
the best thru-hikes in the world! Weaving
through magnificent mountain scenery,
around every corner there’s a stunning
chocolate-box scene, thundering waterfall or
swinging rope-bridge! Hotels, restaurants and
even a spa make this a bit more luxurious!
November 2 to 6
RIFCOM CHALLENGE Our Main Event!
This four-day trekking challenge ascends Morocco´s
Atlas Mountains and finishes at the gateway to the
Sahara Desert! This world-class adventure includes an
epic train journey, spectacular landscapes, tent nights
under stars and the opportunity to aid the Berber
communities hit hard by last year´s earthquake. An
added bonus is the ever-popular optional extension
tour in to Morocco´s Sahara desert!
In addition to these main challenges, we can arrange ad-hoc events, such as weekend trips
for groups of family, friends or work colleagues who want to visit the Rif Mountains, take part
in charity project work, experience the local culture and cuisine, as well as going on a hike or
yoga retreat, or joining one of our mountain football tournaments! All in support of RifCom
and Rif Communities.
Family Discoveries
We can plan trips in to the Rif for family groups which are fun, educational, but also safe, easy
and comfortable. Ideal group sizes are between 10 and 20 and our trips can be tailored to suit
people of all ages and budgets. Please get in touch so we can discuss your request further.
Weekend Warriors
Would you like to visit the Rif, and actually do something to help the communities there? We
can plan trips where groups can get involved with on-going projects on a hands-on basis,
such as painting, simple building & repairs, student garden creation, etc. As our charity
projects develop this year, we’ll identify where our Supporters can help in this way and
release details via our normal social media channels, so keep any eye out!
Team Building
In a world where we often work remotely, plugged in to machines and away from human
connection, a trip in to a remote mountain or desert region can be incredibly beneficial for
building human connections with each other and/or as a reward experience! The travel
experience alone is beneficial, let alone working together with wellness experts in the
mountains or simply sitting around a camp fire and telling stories.
Groups Adventures and Higher End Experiences
Are you looking for a long weekend in and around Marrakech which combines fun, adventure
with comfort, culture, good food and even a bit of luxury – all with an added donation to
